I am so happy. Today I checked my One Smile page and saw that there are now enough donations to help 6 children get their smile operation. My project has raised $1602.00! This has been very exciting for me that so many people care to help. Thank you!

Wow! I wanted to raise enough money to help 2 children when I started. In just a day there were already enough donations to help 2 children. I changed my goal to now help 4 children. Very exciting. Thank you for helping!

Wow, My Dentist Helps Children Here in Canada!

My dentist Dr. Olaf Plotzke helps children in Canada that need surgery to fix their cleft. That is really cool!

Operation Smile

I thought and thought about what I could do to make a difference. My mom told me about the children she saw in China at the orphanage that had cleft palates/lips. We are very lucky in Canada. If we are sick or need an operation we can get one. But in many countries they cannot. I want to help these children!

I am in grade 3. My class is doing the Who is Nobody Project. We have to help a living thing (animals, people or environment) I have chosen to help people. I want to raise awareness and help to raise money for Operation Smile. They help people all around the world with cleft lips and palates.
